Skilled craftsmen behind excellence
Limoges porcelain is exclusively manufactured in two workshops around Limoges. One being La Fabrique based in Haute-Vienne, in the heart of the Limousin. The factory, which specializes exclusively in the production of white porcelain for the luxury industry, contributes to fire arts radiation worldwide. Since 188 years, decade after decade, manufacturing has maintained all costs the different skills and savoir-faire that the production of the most refine porcelain requires.
Beyond an extremely skilled workforce, the key of perfection also lies in the essential ingredients used. They are all local natural ingredients, kaolin, feldspar & quartz. Then the intense firing process (over 1380˚ Celsius) that forms the superb glaze that cannot be penetrated by the elements and gives Limoges porcelain that exquisite translucence. The quality of a piece of porcelain is the result of commitment to excellence at every step of a lengthy manufacturing process.
